Façade Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and detail façade systems including curtain walls, aluminium cladding, structural glazing, and unitized panels.
• Develop shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings as per project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project specifications.
• Provide technical support during site installation and resolve design-related issues.
• Review tender documents, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Optimize design for cost-effectiveness, structural performance, and thermal performance.
• Support project management in material selection and procurement.

🧩 Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven UAE experience in façade design within the aluminium industry.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or other façade design software.
• Familiarity with structural analysis tools (e.g., Staad Pro, SAP2000) is a plus.
• Good understanding of UAE building codes and standards related to façades and glazing.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Currently residing in the UAE. Available to join immediately or within a short notice period.
